0% credit card

Anyone know if I can get a 0% interest credit card for a year or 18 months - I can pay it back easily enough but just not at the moment due to other commitments.

Can I get cash out using it or would someone be better getting cash on my current credit card and transferring the whole balance to a 0% interest card?

You can have the card for as short or long a time as you want. Just cancel it after you’ve finished with it.

as for cash,I think you can withdraw money from the ATM although I’ve never done this.

Your personal situation will dictate what length of time you will be offered 0% for. It can be as low as 3 months, the longest i've seen is 32 months. Personally the longest i have been accepted for was 15 months, which runs out next month.
Yes, you can withdraw cash from an ATM, BUT this will not necessarily count in your 0%. You'd have to get a card that offered 0% on cash advances in order to withdraw cash and pay it back at 0%

My dad used the wrong card of mine a few months ago and withdrew £10 from my credit card without 0% on wityhdrawals, i was charged an immediate £3 fee for the withdrawal (sometimes they charge a percentage of the ammount withdrawn, whichever is the higher ammount) and i would have been charged interest at a high (roughly 29.9%) percentage every day til the ammount was paid back in full.

Your best option is if you can get a new card which is 0% on balance transfers and cash advances, transfer over your current balance, and then use the rest of the available balance for cash witdhrawal.

I would personally reccomend virgin money, they do offer both and with potentially long intrest free periods, but be aware it is a mastercard not a visa.
