Can anyone tell me how to work out my pay for pro rata please? I’m not sure what the full time equivalent is as that’s what online calculators need. It’s a minimum wage job for 22 hours a week. I just wanted to see if it’s worth considering alongside my evening job thanks

thesalarycalculator.co.uk/hourly.php

That can give you the take home pay if you put in the hourly rate and number of hours.

A fulltime week is usually anything from 35-40 hr/week, most organisations have it somewhere listed on their website or in the recruitment information. If its 40 hrs, then 22hr is 22/40 or 0.55, which is what you would times the salary by to get your pro rata amount.

Just remember that your tax free allowance will be totally or partially used on your first job, so tax deductions from an online calculator might not be accurate - and you will probably pay more tax than the calculator suggests.

if the wage offered is £18,448pa term time only at 10 hours per week, what would the actual wage earned be?

Check if your income from the other job affects the tax, the gross amount will need to be taken as a whole, wouldn't it?
