Will writing advice

Now we have a toddler and a mortgage, I'm thinking my husband and I need wills. What are the prices for mirror wills usually and what would I need to include? Still haven't decided who we would leave in our sons care if the worst happened to both of us. Could I add this at another time? I'm a bit nervous of a DIY will but would like some opinions on this too. Thanks.

If you have a joint bank account and savings, and you own your house as joint tenants, the need for a will isn’t vital unless you want to leave money to your child directly.
