Has anyone checked their bill to find they're in a bit of credit and cashed it in? Is that a thing?

Yes, I've done this. Saw that I was over £90 in credit - and they wanted to increase my Direct Debit. I requested a refund via Customer Services and told them I would not be increasing my DD. I got a slightly threatening email warning me that being in debit at the end of the next billing period might affect my credit rating. I ignored it. They said it would take up to 4 weeks to refund me. I'm not impressed that I had to request a refund in the first place, let alone taking a while to get it.

Thank you. Mine is over 200 and would come in very handy!
I didn't know if it was allowed to claim it
