Hi all

I'm looking for some information on Axie Infinity.

My DH and I are looking at dabbling but would love to hear from people who are using/ playing it already.

How much was your initial investment?

How much time daily do you spend and for what return?

How easy is the withdrawal to GBP?

We'd be super grateful for any experiences!

I dont play it, but I know a few people who do.

At current prices you would probably need around £500 for the cheapest axies. Break even is around 2-3 months.

I'm a bit dubious about them tbh, tho as Axie runs on an ethereum sidechain (Ronin), the bridge was hacked last month and they didnt notice for 6 days (!)

(There's actually a funny story around that because the hacker decided to use their illgotten gains to short AXS, on the assumption that the price would plumment when the hack was discovered....only it wasnt discovered and they got liquidated, losing what they had stolen)

Thank you! The prices seem to have dropped (probably due to the hacking!... weirdly that's how we found out about it!).

DH is wondering whether now is a good time to buy as the prices are lower and that they might go up again. We would only be looking to put in what we could afford to lose.

They seem to have put in a lot more security since they were hacked. In fact it's like Fort Knox! There's more security that my actual bank account.
