Basically that. Used to claim tax credits but they took that off of us couple of years ago. We struggled along, before xmas i consolidated all my debts to one loan. Things were going ok until tax credit wrote to us and said we owed 3k, now paying this back at 40 a month. Did online calculation and it looked like we might be entitled to uc. Applied last month, logged on today, and we are entitled to 0!

Do we get assesed again next month? Or is that it? I'm so confused and fed up, we seem to get to a place of being ok then it just fucks up! I have cut back on everything i possibly can. No option of overtime atm. Currently looking for a new job as I'm not happy where i am anyway but, its slim Pickings in my area without incurring extra costs such as travel/parking/childcare cost that would not make it benificial.

Uc will be calculated based on earnings in your monthly Uc assessment period. If wages stay the same each month then it's unlikely you would get anything again next month but if either of you are paid weekly or four weekly then it may be that this month was just a month where you had too much earnings.
Have you checked all your elements on your statement are correct as they can often be incorrect on the first statement. You should have a standard element, child elements if you have kids, rent element if you rent. childcare element if you pay childcare.
