Electricity Bill help

Hi everyone. A bit embarrassing that I don't know, but, I have given a meter reading and noticed that my balance has changed, for example:

Before reading it was - £100 debit
After reading it was - £150 debit.

Does that mean I owe them more money or that they "owe" me?
Not sure if it's because they overestimated or underestimated my electricity use. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated :)

You owe them. It would say credit if they owed you.

Debit = money you owe money
Credit = you’re in credit
