Yes I've used them, I'd say are very good. Government funded and unbiased, so nothing to lose.
I think they are called Moneyhelper.org.uk now
I had a phone call, took about an hour.
He went through my finances and what I am planning to do in retirement.
Talked about different ways of taking your pension, what to think about, how to avoid scammers if you are looking to move your pension pot.
They also sent an email after with a lot of links to useful websites.

it is still called Pensionwise but accessed through Moneyhelper.

I had a chat a few weeks ago about pensions. Asthelonggame said it lasted about an hour. Very relaxed and the chap was a very friendly person.

They can't/don't give financial advice but they do recommend you contact an IFA if needed.
