Can anyone help? I'm after a basic savings account for my adult self where I can withdraw the money quickly and easily if I want to. I don't need any direct debits/cards or anything on it..what would you suggest?

I have the Plum app that rounds up anything you spend but you can also make manual transfers when you want and also withdraw back to your bank account instantly if you need to. :-)

Premium Bonds, you can get the money out within a few days if that's quick enough for you.
You won't earn interest but you could win tax-free cash, there's an ongoing thread here where posters discuss winnings each month to give you an idea.

Marcus. Really quick and easy to transfer in and out, all online and a decent interest rate (in the context of current interest rates!).

Doesn't your bank offer this? I have a current account with my bank and a basic savings account alongside it - I transfer between the two quite frequently.

Zopa have a new easy access saver account where you can "easily access" funds & save into different pots 😁
