If you've recently changed bank accounts and got £££ for switching

When did you get it?
We've recently switched bank accounts and did so because of the incentive for switching but so far haven't received the incentive.
Do we have to wait until our wages have been paid in first?
We've never done this before.

Normally after first wage and DDs have gone in/out but will have been in t&cs

Some of them say you have to transfer a certain number of DDs

We get paid 28th. Direct debits go out on 1st.
We switched on 7th. So it has only been just over a week.
So haven't had any wages paid in or bills gone out yet.
Will have a look at t&c's
Might have to wait until we've had a round of wages and bills then before we're paid it.

You need to meet the very precise conditions.
Return to the bank website and check what they are; often they include paying in a sum of money within X days, setting up 2 direct debts, logging into online banking etc.

I tend to arrange 3 or 4 per year for my DH and myself. It brings in over £500. It’s well worth it, but you must be careful to check the specific conditions and meet them exactly or it won’t pay out.

Who is your switch to?

Some pay out immediately, but there is one where it takes 90 days.

I’ve just switched to first direct literally 2 days ago. I got my £150 today which I wasn’t expecting! When I switched to Nationwide it only took a week or so.

A week after switching to nationwide via there switch service I received £120
