How much do you have left over from monthly salary after paying all bills etc.

I have about £300 to save per month.

Is that a reasonable amount?

I've often wondered about the obsession on here with this question, there are always threads Grin

Firstly how do people even have an answer, do you all spend exactly the same each month and secondly why so interested in other finances Confused

I am merely asking as I am trying to save up incase I need to leave my home as the situation here is not good.

I have around £230, give or take. Don’t even want to consider gas and electric going up -
Probably sweet f-a after the bill rises 😅. I try to save £70pm for upcoming birthdays and Christmas.

My outgoings are very low, I have about £600 atm, but I'm sure that will decrease.
If I split short term savings off though then probably half of that, holidays, Christmas, Birthdays, uniforms, school fancy dress shite none of that's really optional so just meaning after direct debits, food and fuel.
