Has anybody heard of this company? I have never signed up to them but they've got my bank details somehow. They are taking money out of my bank account and I don't know what to do.

Their Customer Service said there is nothing they can do to help. I cannot afford this money. They have literally left me with £1.26 in my account this month until I get paid on the 17th.

Can anyone advise me please? Thanks.

Hi yes Their the biggest scam on the Internet,
You've clicked on their link they state about having cash back,
You don't receive the cash back and they take from your bank £15 £20 a month
Google them on the Internet and email them,
That's what I've done I've checked back and they've been under so many different names,
They pop up everywhere even when I've finished shopping.
It states about having cash back think what you clicked.
Good luck go citizens advice

In complete fairness to them, it’s not a scam. I’ve had loads of money back from them since I joined.

For example, I bought a new range cooker at the end of last month and the cash back of £250 hit my bank account this morning. Photo attached so you can see I’m not some dodgy marketing bot 😂

I’m in the middle of house renovations and I’ll probably cancel once we’ve finished buying the main stuff we need as I don’t think we’ll get our moneys worth with normal spending habits.

I’m not suggesting that it’s worth signing up - I wouldn’t have bothered unless I knew I was going to be spending a fuck ton on new stuff for the house. But it’s not a scam and they do pay out (although their customer service is usually a bit shit and slow to respond to stuff).

They are nothing better than scamming thieves who do not make it clear what people are signing up to. It should be a lot harder than one click to sign up. I've seen the pop ups and they don't explain clearly that it's a subscription service. I've nearly clicked on it before on a phone accidentally, it's so easily done without intending to click it at all.

I can only speak for my own experience - and it was very clear on the screen. If you click things without reading then really, you only have yourself to blame….. 🤷‍♀️

I agree a more rigorous sign up process might help but the responsibility also lies with all of us to be careful what we’re clicking and agreeing to online.

I don’t see how they’re “scamming thieves” when they pay out when you use the service. You shouldn’t click on anything if you don’t know what it is - it’s basic internet safety. It only takes one click to upload a virus or spyware so a bit of care is needed for many different reasons…

Mind you, I don’t think the £15 a month is worth it unless you’re making lots of purchases. I won’t be keeping my subscription long term.

Hi, I have just read your email with great interest! So I bought a Moonpig card online and to cut a long ‘small print’ story short here’s what they do… once you are at the checkout part of your transaction, somewhere in minsscule writing it states unless you press this opt out button you are agreeing to sign up to this ‘complete savings’ SCAM where they take £15 out of your account every month. You probably , like me don’t notice it for months??
when I realised what was happening I wrote an extremely firm letter demanding all my money back! I thought it was just this payment but it appears they have been taking this money over a very long period of time ( prob last time I sent another Moonpig card!!)
so now I have to fill out a form demanding every single penny that they have stolen from my account. AT NO POINT WHATSOEVER DID I AGREE TO THIS MONTHLY PAYMENT ( I don’t even know what they do!) AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW OF THIS DAY LIGHT ROBBERY FROM A COMPANY YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD TRUST!!
I did get an immediate response from ‘my complete savings’ who have so far refunded me £45!! The cheek of them!!!!
so please do not give up, be very firm and DEMAND it back asap. DM if you need help with the letter. Good luck 🤞

Can Martin Lewis help?

Complete Savings publish a list of their retail partners here: https://www.completesavings.co.uk/home/allretailers/862800

It seems that you get your membership fee back by shopping every month with the retailer you signed up from. So, if I shop at Sainsbury's every month, I can send Complete Savings a copy of my receipt each month and I'll get cashback equal to, or more than, my £15 membership.

You can then get money-off vouchers for their other partners which, as a PP said, could be well worthwhile if it's 10% off a couple of big-ticket items.

Their recruitment method's despicable but the offer itself isn't bad. The only thing is, I know I'd never get around to uploading my monthly Sainsbury's receipt! That said, I'll think of joining for a couple of months when I want to buy something big.

I use completesavings on a regular basis. I knew what I was signing up for with the pop-up as I actually read the details...

I get 10% off all my Argos, eBay, Currys, Nike, Sports Direct purchases etc with sometimes 12 or 20% off for limited periods. Have also booked holiday, hotels and train tickets with 10% off. It mounts up.

Costs me nothing as I get the £15 refunded each month. It's not a scam and no, I don't work for them. The reason it exists is that you are allowing them to track your usage of certain websites in return for the discount. They want your data.

Have just found this thread . Found out today that complete savings thieving@arseholes have been taking £15 a month since July2019…=£900 !!
Absolutely 100% never signed up and had never heard of this con .
They have refunded £45 today,I have cancelled the payments and my credit card company are going to chase up the money I am owed ! It was from an Argos payment that they got my details.
Because it such a small amount I had never noticed the payment being paid until today.

Babji · 28/08/2024 17:18

I noticed on 26 Aug 2024 that there was a pending payment on my account of £18, I couldn't for the life of me work out what it was so, I called my bank to see if they could help. They told me it was a recurring transaction using my debit card. I told them I had no idea what it was so they told me they would cancel my card and send me a new one. Having looked at this thread I realised I wasn't the only daft one here. I went to their website and logged on and sure enough google filled in my login details and I was able to look at my "account", there was a facility to cancel my "subscription" which I did. The last transaction I did online was a with a company called Wowcher which is also a ripoff, it was at their site that this fraud occurred. I hope this is the last I hear from these @$$hole$. I am adding a screenshot of the cancellation in the hope that it helps someone.

They work for dominos rewards. If you haven't claimed a reward they will refund the money.
