I need a bit of as ice and pointing in the right direction to resolve this.
In November I sold two items of clothes through PayPalto two different people, so one item each to strangers.
One lady wasn't happy and wanted a refund. Thats fine however I made a mistake and issued the refund to the wrong lady.
When I realised my mistake I refunded the right lady, she had to wait a bit but no problem she has received her money.

The lady who got a refund by mistake said she hasn't received anything. I left it a bit and sent a screenshot of the transaction. She is saying, nope, not received it.
I was in touch with PayPal yesterday and they said yes, she got the money on the 6th December.

It's not a great deal of money, but its mine!!!
Where do I go from here?
Any advice please?

I wouldn’t have thought there was much you could do. The mistake was yours.

Nothing. She's lying but doesn't have to return it if you've made a mistake. You're relying on her being a decent person and lots of people just aren't.

Have you asked PayPal.. yes it was your error but surely her keeping it is theft?

Yes, I had a convo with them this morning. They said its def6hone in gave the date and finished by saying theres no reason for her not to refund!
I dont know her, it was sold through a specific fb site so I've never had a problem before so I guess some you win, some you lose.
