Hi all,

Just a quick one, I have taken 9 months off work mat leave, but really thinking now how much I want the 12 months. I had my payments spread over the 9 months.
If I was the take the remaining 3 months would I get may help of a income from anywhere? I do have a partner who Works full time so he brings a income in to, but obvs not as much as us both together.

All depends on your household income, you can put it into turn 2 us or similar and see whether you can get any uc

You accrue annual leave during your mat leave so, depending on your holiday year and if you had already used them up before mat leave or not, you might have hols you can use.

I took 10.5 months maternity leave and used 25 days of my accrued annual leave but ended my maternity leave partway through the month so I only had 1 full month with no income. Could potentially apply for some UC but all depends on your partner's income.
