UC £20 per Week v’s £500 one-off payment

Given that there’s a case being brought on behalf of people on legacy benefits (income support, JSA, etc) not getting any additional support during COVID, has anyone heard of a similar case for the ones on the old tax credit system (CT, WTC) ?
They received the one-off payment of £500 compared to the £1060 that everyone else got. Just wondering.

Probably best to see if they win first before worrying about it, highly likely they will lose though.

it's my understanding that people on WTC got exactly the same as those on Uc , it's just that the £500 one off was paid to cover April to september as tax credits are calculated annually . I believe it worked out the same for both.
