Universal Credit LCWRA First Payment

Hey lovelies!
I was recently placed into the LCRWA group for Universal Credit. My assessment period runs from the 7th to the 6th of each month. I am paid on the 13th. I reported my health change on the 6th June, and submitted by first sick note on the 14th June. Does anyone have any idea when my first payment including the LCWRA element will be?
I’ve been told conflicting things and I’m all confused! Some people have said that the 3 month wait starts from the day you reported your health change (6th June) which would mean I’d receive it in this month’s pay, others have said it’s from the date you submitted the sick note (the 14th June) so I’d get it next month.

I’m all confuzzled and any help would be greatly appreciated ❤️

As far as I remember, they don't take the change until the end of the month then paid 3 months in arrears so first payment would be October 🙂

There's a charity called universal credit essentials which is run by trained volunteers. They would be able to give accurate info 🙂

www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/376/regulation/28

Reg 28. An award of universal credit is not to include the LCW or LCWRA element until the beginning of the assessment period that follows the assessment period in which the relevant period ends.

The relevant period is the period of three months beginning with […] the first day on which the claimant provides evidence of their having limited capability for work in accordance with the Medical Evidence Regulations.

It should be from the fourth Uc assessment period after you started handing in sick notes so i would say from october payment.
