Child benefit question

My oldest has decided that his 3rd year college is not fior him so is leaving
This means his child benefit will stop, will i continue to get the 2nd child rate for my other child ?

You get the full rate now for the remaining child I believe. As there is no second child to pay for.

That will be good as whilst ds1 looks for a job we will be down money and need the cb to get by as my temp job finishes .
Ds has an interview next week so fingers crossed

Yeah, your second child will get full rate. My 17 year old went on to UC so her child benefit got stopped, but I now get full rate for my 13 year old.
