Pay rise

I have just received a 3% nhs payrise, do I need to tell the tax credits people ? I read online that you only need to let them know if your salary increases or decreases by £2500. Also do I have to let housing benefit know also ?! Sorry I'm clueless when it comes to these things.

As a rule with any benefits, if in doubt - declare.

I doubt it tbh and the pay rise will be cancelled out, quite a bit, by the rise in National Insurance next April that will claw it all back (can you tell I’m a disgruntled NHS worker).
