Yesterday an acquaintance who does Avon shared the link to the new brochure on Facebook. As I needed a few bits, I made an order and paid via PayPal. However, once I clicked the button to pay, the screen just went to "your basket is now empty". I never got a confirmation email so no order number or anything. I can see that the payment went through, so I thought I'd check with Avon. They have no record of the order! I'm not too worried about getting my money back, as it wasn't much and I'm fairly confident that either Avon or PayPal will sort it. But I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I've also noticed that when I go onto the Avon site from my web browser my basket is empty, yet when I go back to the Facebook link all the items I "bought" are back in my basket. It's definitely a genuine link and I have ordered from this person before. Really odd.
