Maternity allowance?

Has anyone applied for maternity allowance recently? If so how long did they take to give you a response? I applied 2 weeks ago and haven't had any confirmation at all yet.

It was 12 weeks for a response a couple of months ago, a lot of people warned me to apply as soon as I can… I hope they get back to you soon!

I got a text a couple of days after I posted the forms off to say they'd received them and I'd get a decision in 4 weeks, it then took about 3 weeks to get the decision letter through so a fairly quick turnaround

To clarify I sent off my forms in August and got the response start of September
