Attendance allowance repayment

My mum was in hospital for a period of time and continued to receive attendance allowance.
I have notified dwp but does anyone know how long it takes for them to get in touch over the repayment.
It’s been a few months since I advised them of the overpayment

AA would only stop if she was in hospital for over 28 days. If she owes it back I'm surprised they have not taken it back by now.
