Courts Costs Application

I’m in trouble. I need some advice from a lawyer on a costs app that’s being made against me.

The other side are claiming costs they have not actually incurred e.g for the costs hearing itself which has not happened yet including solicitors and barristers fees. Can they do that?

They are claiming VAT which I believe they have recovered already as there VAT registered. Surely they can’t claim that from me if there eligible to get it back themselves?

How much would you charge for bundle preparation for 1000 odd pages?

During the procedure they took it upon themselves to update documentation e.g witness statements and make new witness statements without making an application to the court - can I reject these costs or should I just say there unreasonable?

They had a trainee solicitor working on the case. Can I be charged for for his work being reviewed with his partner supervisor?

Can you recommend a costs draughtsman who might be able to help.

Thank you for your help. I’m in such a muddle.
I don’t know what is and is not allowed to be claimed and it’s giving me a headache. Blush
