Finding paye ref number to claim union dubs

My payslip has this reference number on it, however OHs doesn't. How do we find out what his paye ref number is if it isn't on his payslip. I can find his employee ref number but not what the govt website is asking for. Would anyone know if he needs to ring tax office or his payroll. Thought it would be very simple to claim back his union subs but no we are struggling.

Obviously mean subs. Don't know why my phone changes every word.

He needs to speak to payroll. It's daft not to be on his payslip but many aren't 🤷‍♂️
