Looking for a credit card expert

I have a 0% interest credit card, the interest free period has now ran out but it still has a balance that I’m paying interest on.

I made a purchase on the card last week but it has been refunded. I’m just wondering do I pay interest on the purchase that was made and then refunded? Do you get the 50 odd day interest free period (normal credit card interest free period) on purchases if there was already a balance on the card?

No. That only applies if you clear the card in full every month. You'll pay interest on the average daily balance from now on.

Can you transfer the balance to another interest free deal? If you have a decent credit rating, you should be able to. Have a look what's available on Moneysavingexpert.
