I’ve just found my old wedding ring, is it worth selling it? How do I go about it?

It’s from my first marriage 26 years ago, I can’t remember if it’s 18 or 22 carat gold is it likely to be worth anything? If it is where should I go?

I sold mine to one of those pop up cash for gold places and got £45 for it and took me and the kids out for a pizza.

This should give you an idea of the scrap value, it should have a stamp on the band denoting the gold quality.
