Ooo going anywhere nice?

Nothing really here, planning to sell our house next year, so maybe to boost our deposit/legal fees etc

Myusernameisnotmyusernameno · 21/08/2021 23:41

House deposit. Getting married in four weeks so house is the next thing (I'm already 40 Confused)

Ninkanink · 21/08/2021 23:43

Retirement!

And maybe also another handbag... Grin

AlexandraQueen · 21/08/2021 23:51

Loft conversion and/or bigger house. We need another bedroom to stop the arguments from dc sharing, but not sure which option to go for yet.

shazzz1xx · 22/08/2021 23:19

Car

MrsRobbieHart · 22/08/2021 23:21

In my imagination: to clear debts

In reality: nothing- I can’t afford to save Grin

Zenithbear · 22/08/2021 23:26

Early retirement

jenkel · 22/08/2021 23:27

Revamp of downstairs and new kitchen, actually have they money but dh is a contractor so we are waiting to see what his next contract will be like, before we drain our savings

Dinosauraddict · 23/08/2021 20:08

PhD fees, DS' school fees, a nice holiday... the list is endless

H8H8H8 · 23/08/2021 20:10

Paying off the mortgage early.

tallullabluebella · 23/08/2021 20:13

Last little bit of a house deposit, husbands milestone birthday next month and holiday spends

Disfordarkchocolate · 23/08/2021 20:13

We want to move in a few years so that, and Christmas and to just boost our savings.

Very boring really. We are at the beginning of a new 5 year plan.

SweatyBetty20 · 23/08/2021 20:18

Split between paying off my brother’s funeral and a new boiler as it’s starting to wheeze a bit and is 12 years old. Also putting £25 a month away for my 50th next year so that O can treat myself to something nice.

Candleinthewindae · 24/08/2021 08:12

New kitchen and generally doing things around the house.

Winterfairy23 · 24/08/2021 08:16

Split between a Christmas pot, a holiday pot (hopefully next year if things get better), microblading and a general emergency fund.

Dyrne · 24/08/2021 08:25

Need to redo driveway and patio because they’re a state; and also the “grass” in the garden is 90% moss so would like to completely tear it up and start again.

I also have £100/month going into a S&S ISA for the long term.

SantaMonicaPier · 24/08/2021 08:28

I don't know yet! Overpaying the mortgage and have increased my pension which are both really important to me. And finally this last year have had money to put aside every month from my personal spends which feels amazing. I will know what I'm saving for when I see it! I have considered dabbling in a few shares.

idontlikealdi · 24/08/2021 08:49

Just booked a rather expensive holiday for next summer, so that!

UserStillatLarge · 24/08/2021 08:51

University for DCs

(we already have regular savings for holidays/ongoing house maintenance/emergency fund)

ByTheSea · 24/08/2021 09:03

I want to remodel my kitchen

TheZeppo · 24/08/2021 09:23

Paris Olympics 2024. I’ve decided to rent somewhere and spend a whole summer over there. Just eating cheese, drinking wine and watching sports. Bliss.

Marcee · 24/08/2021 09:27

Firstly a house.

I also need a new car.

I want to retire early.

And have 2 very young kids that will probably go to university

SFHJ · 24/08/2021 16:42

Extension and a holiday with continuing with mortgage overpayments!

tiredanddangerous · 24/08/2021 16:54

New kitchen.

MintyCedric · 24/08/2021 16:58
