Surveys – there are tons of websites, but the majority are for pennies. Do a google search for ‘paid surveys’, but beware of websites touting affiliate links. The only one I would recommend is:

Hi, I haven't been on these threads for ages but I finally got accepted onto Nile and started 3 days ago. I've had to keep refreshing the rating tool to get the full batch of 30 ads and now I've been blocked and taken off! I'm gutted as I really need this money and was so pleased that I finally got onto it.

Anyone else having the same trouble? Are they likely to reinstate me after I reopen the closure ticket?

I've been booted from N'le finally! Does anyone else find app arrogant or is it just me?! They sent me a "you've been blocked from this project" email - no acknowledgement of the fact that THEIR fuck up meant I (and many others) couldn't actually access the tool for months and they couldn't fix it. I know they're shit, it just annoyed me 😂

Sorry to hear that @Adelais there have been issues with it for a long time, I was just coming up to a year of working it so would have been booted soon anyway. Even when I started I had to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it was a bit irritating I must admit. This last couple of months it went down completely and no one could work it at all and I've never managed to do it again since, that happened at the start of July.
I did manage to get into a good rhythm with it though over time and it is a shame to lose the project as the money was easy and good. Hopefully something else will come through 🤞🏼

Anyone that does WWW been paid yet? I was expecting it today but noticed on the invoice change it wanted bank details not the usual PayPal...

Anybody had a ridiculous email about them never complying surveys on App? I do mine religiously but they've sent me a survey for the two N ones to ask why I haven't ever done them?!

Also got even less on my second go at Ppl so I think I'll write that one off as not my kind of thing 😂

I've also had the email. I opened the survey they sent to see if I could say that I do complete them regularly but that wasn't an option so not sure what to do. 🤔

I completed it for both and ticked other, and said in the comment box actually I do them every week and would like to continue.

Og has been messed up tonight too, I wonder of they're doing some tinkering behind the scenes and just making a mess! Still haven't got into Stu either depsite it showing on my projects 😂

Project Stu is ok once you get used to it...just waiting to see if i pass quality check...it was kind of fun. Would be good to have more like this-fingers crossed.

I can't access Stu either. I don't seem to have an SRT password and the new FB email they've sent me just comes up with account closed when I enter it. No idea what the problem is. Think I've flunked the Malta quizzes. Highest was Wish* at 70% and lowest was Que** at 30%. Don't think I'll get selected for those! Really need a project!

I feel your pain @Catatemyhomework I didn't get the opportunity to do those quizzes.

Hopefully Ap will come through with a really good project soon!!

@AnotherOne4, really hope you're right. Fingers crossed for us both 🤞. It's really frustrating when you can't complete a project due to issues beyond your control. I can't even access my old SRT from Suth now either 😢. God I miss that project. Earned less than £100 this month but have been away so really shouldn't complain. I work part time so if I was to earn a little extra on the side at what point do I need to declare it for tax purposes? I don't earn a great deal per month (around £1,200) but with my husbands earnings we don't receive any benefits (just CB) so I'm not concerned about it affecting that I just don't want to get in trouble!

I think I did @LoLo2020 but it seemed to reference Bangladeshi heritage or similar in my email which I don't have... I'll have a proper look tomorrow in case it's the usual App gobbledygook communication.

I got the email for for*er too. Clicked on the link to do the test and it just took me back to the Appen projects page. About 5 minutes later I got email saying I'd failed the exam! All very odd considering I didn't even take it! 🤔

If your other job is employment then I think you can earn up to £1000 in self employment before having to declare it. If you earn over £1000 then you have to do a self assessment tax return. This page has more detail www.gov.uk/income-tax-rates
