CCJ tracing

I have CCJs on my credit file and absolutely no idea who I owe the money to, I've googled how to find this info but I'm hitting a brick wall.

Does anybody know how I can find this out? I only have the claim number and the issuing court (County Court Business Centre)

I would be extremely grateful for any help with this!

Thank you

You need to go through The Registry Trust. My husband had a CCJ on his credit file that had been given in error (similarly named person living in a flat near his in a converted mansion block). They maintain the official statutory Register of Judgments, Orders, and Fines for England & Wales on behalf of the Ministry of Justice and are very helpful.

I spoke to everyone else before I got as far as these guys, so am giving you all of their info below to save you ringing around the houses like I had to:

Their website is [[https://www.registry-trust.org.uk/about/]] and you can phone them on 020 7380 0133 or email at [email protected]

I’m certain that they’ll help you get to the bottom of it. Good luck- it’s a complicated business!

Sorry that link didn’t work. Here’s the website: www.registry-trust.org.uk/about/
