Pip MR?

Hi

Has anyone asked for a MR for pip and had their award lowered? I accept the daily living award but feel I should have received 2 more points in the planning and following a journey. I'm concerned about a MR in case they lower the daily living award so this is stopping me from appealing.

Can you get more info or an idea of what might happen if you phone them?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

It's always a risk. I think if you make sure you provide good solid medical evidence to show how you meet the descriptors for the points you think you should have scored then you may be ok but yes they will look at the whole award again.

I understood that if your award was to be lowered they have to inform you so you can withdraw your MR. Have a look at www.a1benefitsupport.com - it's free, you join through fb and they have advisors you can ask
