Back in june we bought MIL flowers through interflora and paid on the card.
All fine and good, we thought.
Every month since then, we have been docked £8 by shopdisc. This is a US discount webloyalty scheme ,which is closely linked to interflora and other supposably reputable companies.
We were not interested in the scheme but it appears we have been hooked into it . Apparently , when you buy on line a pop up window offers you a coupon for the next visit, if you click this you become a member and thecarddetails are transferred . We are now going to pursue the cash but are annoyed that we have been put into this position.

If anyone has a debit of £8 going to shopdisc or shoppers discount, are you aware this is happening?

No I wasn't aware of this and I ordered flowers from interflora and I think I clicked the voucher thingy - that was only a few weeks ago!

Are you stuck with it? How do you get out of it? That's outrageous because it says nothing about it when you click for the voucher.

Oh no i ordered flwoers from them about a yr ago now, not sure about any voucher thing as can not remember, it would be on my bank statements though would'nt it? i will have a look through for the company names your suggesting.

What a shocking & totally misleading thing to do, thiefs.

Last word should be WARNING

Check your statements first you may not have been caught, this site is very comprehensive ,full of so many angry people and they describe what to do to get the money back, better than I can.
elhaba - they just sit there taking your cash, unless you check on their site.

Dh checked our credit card and so far there's nothing on it. Here's hoping.

Thats good news.
We called shoppersdiscount today and after a lot of reading us the manual, we are getting a complete refund.

These discount sites aren't doing anything illegal , but the there must be something wrong or badly designed , if the unwary can be so very, very easily be hooked and credit card details switched.

Think i might check the moneysavingexpert website.
