Hi just looking for some advice, currently I am employed and working 16 hours a week, I’ve been offered a new job with better pay due to start in the next few weeks when I hand my notice in. I’ve just found out I’m pregnant (baby number 2) and won’t be entitled to SMP according to my due date if I was to leave my current job for this one. Who qualifies for the full amount of maternity allowance, I’d hate to find out after starting this Job I only qualify for £29 a week instead of the £151 any help greatly appreciated 🥰

You need to be employed for 26 weeks out of the last 66 before birth. In 13 of those 26 weeks you need to have earned more than £30 each week. You would submit the payslips for the 13 weeks that you earned the highest amount of money and that's what your MA will be based on.
