Do I sound ungrateful?

I usually get a $25 gift card that I can only buy food with(e.g Ubereats card), but I don't really want to buy food. So I was going to ask if I could have a card that I can spend on something else, but then I got stressed that I might sound ungrateful. Help?

That sounds fine. I had years of getting a BHS voucher from my MIL before finally saying actually I’d prefer Next. She didn’t mind at all.
