I paid for a hotel through expedia in July, went on the holiday a few weeks ago, yesterday got my credit card bill and the hotel have charged me too! I'm £400 out of pocket and everyone is passing the buck! Help!

Ring your bank - I would have thought you can apply for a refund via your credit card caompany as that is the illicit payment.

You need to persue this with the Hotel, demand to speak to the Financial controller or even the General Manager.

Fax/email them copies of your expedia receipt and your credit card bill from tyhe hotel. Hotel has also been paid by expedia so have effectively charged you twice. This is appalling.

If all else fails there is a UK sales office:
Disneyland® Resort Paris UK Office
0208 222 1412

Call them and I'm sure they will help.

They were on Watchdog{Expedia),2 or 3 weeks ago, dozens of people with same/similar problem. Was appalling actually, and customer service rubbish, the way they treat customers and ignore them,i actually swore to myself afterwards that i'll never ever book with them.
Sorry it's happened to you tho,try looking on their website for more info, should be bbc.co.uk/watchdog

Oh gosh Disneyland did this to me with a business conference a few years ago. Luckily I yelled enough and got a refund same day. Expedia are rubbish when things go wrong though.

IN expedia's defence I booked the wrong flights for my holiday through them and as soon as I realised my mistake I contacted them and they sorted it straight away and waived any charges even though it was caused 100% by my stupidity.
