Erudio student loan deferment

I am deferring my Erudio student loan repayment this year as I am unemployed (thanks Coronavirus). I have provided a bank statement to prove I am on Universal credit. However as I have had various loans from friends (in the region of £50 here and there) they have said I need signatures from these third parties to prove that. This seems ridiculous- the first friend I approached said I was being taken for a mug and said they will not sign a piece of paper. Even with these small loans (which Universal Credit are completely fine with) I am not in any way close to the threshold for repayments. Can anyone advise of my status if I cannot prove these payments? A little bit nervous as June 8th Erudio will start taking money from my overdrawn account.

What kind of friend cares about you enough to loan you money, but doesn’t care enough to remove your stress by signing to say it was loaned to you? Odd!

Does it matter though, one friend? Surely the others that loaned you money will sign?

Just fake their signatures?

A friend who thinks I'm being a mug. I can see their point of view. It is absurd, but I think that's the only way Erudio can get back some money- by being extremely pedantic :)

Yes, but whether you’re a mug or not is your call - not your friend’s. She’s not the one having to deal with this. She’s being very unhelpful!
