I live in Scotland my mother has a large ammount of savings I received 4000 pounds as a gift last year my mother died on Saturday I'm bow concerned that other brothers who haven't been there or a lawyer dealing with her estate will make an issue out of this

If her estate is taxable there will be a small amount of tax due on the gift
