that's it basically......after splitting with dp....i'm looking for my own place.
i'm trying to write a list of what bills i'll have, and a rough cost so i can see if my earnings are enough or i'll have to get a part time job as well to afford to live.
i know i'll miss something obvious....so thought i'd ask on here!

i can't afford to live on my wages .....the upside is that my current work is only evenings, and a part time day job would earn me the extra i need, just hope i can find one now!

you will get single person discount for ouncil tax, 25% off. and have you factored in tax credits?

Low income = council tax benefit & housing benefit.

i'm not sure if i'll be entitled to any help.....
i only have ds at weekends, so the benefits people don't class me as a single parent. and i only work 14 hours a week.....but i get £10 an hour.......
i will also have quite a lot of savings as the ex is buying me out of the mortgage.....
i just don't want to eat into my savings to much to pay bills.....i'm very frugal
