So im signed off work and will be for the next 4 weeks. I will be receiving statutory sick pay which will work out at almost half my monthly wage. I recieve a universal credit payment every month also.. Does anyone know if my universal credit payment for this month will be less? My anxiety is through the roof as I have it in my head ill have to take a drastic hit to this month's universal credit aswell as my wage. Has anyone been in this situation? Did you universally credit payment get reduced for the time you were off sick?

It will depend what earnings/ SSP fall in your assessment period. SSP is treated the same way as earnings, so overall if your total is less than normal you will get some extra Uc although it won't replace your earnings. For each pound you lose in earning less, your Uc will increase by 63p. So in a nutshell your Uc will increase but as wages will be less you will be slightly worse off overall.
