Nutonic is getting an awful lot of false positive views on Trustpilot. It’s almost like there’s a campaign to boost their image, especially as they have removed more honest appraisals of what Salon calls a “win win dropshipping business and not a pyramid scheme”. If only the some more honest reviews about the opportunity would appear ...

@Spongebobette

How much are they paying to watch online Success Days? It’s a rip off at any price
Imagine having to pay to watch your manager receive a bonus on Teams.

Can anyone confirm that there was a charge and how much?

Dustyhedge · 06/05/2021 23:10

There is someone on my Facebook who has been sucked in. All her posts are full of positivity and well-being shite and offering people a chance to join her business. Her ‘business’ seems to be spouting bollocks about time and happiness being more important than job titles. She’s not even pushing products so god knows what she’s signed up to. Her ‘coach’ seems to be forever living though as I was curious and saw some links to the big success event things.

I know full well that she lost her job during lockdown, has two small children and is vulnerable to exploitation as she was not one of the brightest. It makes me really sad for her but I don’t know her well enough to say please don’t put your money into this.

BSintolerant · 07/05/2021 07:55

Indeed! Who in their right mind would pay to watch their manager receive a bonus under any circumstances? If hell froze over and I had to choose I’d go with the virtual option. That way I wouldn’t have to pay for my own refreshments or be tempted to buy a pro planner, mindset tools, a branded tablecloth, or a great big foam hand to wave at the cameras.

fromdownwest · 07/05/2021 08:44

The whole Industry doesn’t translate to the real world.
Imagine posting your annual bonus cheque on your Instagram?
I’d be ripped apart in a second by my friends.
The whole industry is just very very odd.

Spongebobette · 07/05/2021 09:23

I was brought up to believe that showing off and talking about money were bad things

I cringe when I see the boasting about material things by bots

BSintolerant · 07/05/2021 11:38

It’s vulgar.

MLMsuperfan · 07/05/2021 12:36

It's crass to talk about how much you're owning, even if it's true! If you're faking it until you make it that's beyond crass.

FranceTeam · 07/05/2021 20:52

@Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting

I can't wait to see Castle getting a real job. One day she will have to.
I’m not sure that the doom and gloom comments are very helpful. Many posters on this forum speculate about the imminent collapse of Forever Living, and how it’s only a matter of time that certain bots will go bankrupt. But it never happens, and clearly they are able to continue in business, even if well below their previous peak.
Spongebobette · 07/05/2021 21:07

HAVE YOU NOT HEARD OF THE LAW OF ATTRACTION??

🤣🤣🤣🤣

BSintolerant · 07/05/2021 21:31

Forever Living might not have bitten the dust just yet, but there’s obviously a decline since the glory days of 2016. I suspect that companies like FL may withdraw their business from certain countries, which will signal the beginning of the end. Avon is no longer calling in Australia and NZ, Stella & Dot pulled out of the European market: who’s next? More and more people are alive to how MLMs really operate. If the dodgy practices of the top bots were investigated by the authorities and found to be fraudulent, the companies would either be banned from operating in certain jurisdictions or would have to adhere to new rules and regulations which might finish them off.

A number of bots are bankrupt (I’m sure Homeschool never thought she’d end up on the Insolvency Register), or are / have been directors of companies which are now insolvent. The savvier top bots have other genuine business interests which they can fall back on when the ship goes down. It’s only a matter of time.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 07/05/2021 21:51

@FranceTeam - I am not quite sure what you mean. The publicly available accounts for FLP UK show a steady decline in both turnover and revenue, as well as on their KPIs, chief among which is their number of ''FBOs/business owners", i.e. their cash cows.
The trend for top Bot's bonuses has been equally dire- the overall amount is a fraction of what it used to be, the number of bots actually getting one is a fraction of what it used to be, and the only reason the headline bots have still been getting significant amounts is because the rules have been skewed evermore in their favour to preserve them as 'aspirational targets', although these amounts are much lower than they once were.
We know that the system is bent in favour of the top bots, but look at where some of the superstars of the boom years are- John Lewis/insolvency bot owes HMRC a six figure sum, homeschool is a bankrupt shilling crypto Ponzis, PHD has fled the U.K. leaving an insolvent business behind, to name but a few...
A few more bots achieved very meagre bonuses this year than last thanks to the pandemic and the fact that job insecurity made more people vulnerable to the siren songs if the MLM scammers. They will not be there for long (and even if they are, the likes of Nurse and NoVowels are hardly going to sustain the top-heavy pyramid, even if they are milked dry).
It's not wishful thinking, it is purely facts and simple maths.

FranceTeam · 07/05/2021 22:36

I guess the point I am making is that for Forever Living, they are a private company, owned by the same family. So they are not under the same pressures as a publicly traded company. The can survive in the market at a much smaller profit rate.

While individual bots may go bankrupt, you can’t really tell the exact financial situation of someone by looking at companies house data. It doesn’t tell the whole picture.

So what I am saying is that constantly saying particular bots will go bust is unhelpful. You don’t know that and have been proven wrong on this before. And when it doesn’t happen and they do get cheques for example, it undermines the Anti-MLM message.

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeep · 08/05/2021 11:13

Sacked is apparently quitting MLM due to the trolling...ill believe that when I see it!

Garliccoriander · 08/05/2021 12:38

Just had a bit of a spat with a hun on one of the UC / benefits sites. She was enquiring about more money 💴. I noted on her fb she is a Valentus hun and asked if she had declared her income . After much huffing & puffing she has withdrawn the post.
I don’t claim benefits myself but as a taxpayer I have the right to research 🧐

MarchXX · 08/05/2021 19:51

Aaarrgh! My dear cousin, financially vulnerable carer, who had been signed up to TBSAH for a couple of years has now invited me to her Everra fb page, which she started yesterday Sad. I despair.

It seems to be crazy lashes, supplements and make-up - all eye-wateringly expensive prices. One of the supplement things is $71 per month with encouragement to autoship. WTAF!

Me too. She’s raking in circa £10K a month at the minute and let’s be honest, sacked is very money motivated and she’s really not bothered about who’s head she has to tread on to get it as long as she can maintain her lifestyle. Look at the fuss and poor me posts that happened when she had to live on benefits like a lot of single mums.
stayingaliveisawayoflife · 09/05/2021 17:54

One of my old school friends is doing Norwex. Does anyone know anything about them. Lots of talk about side hustles, own team and business but I hadn't heard of them before.

I've only seen people in the US talk about Norwex. Is it magic cloths that clean everything with no need for chemicals? Definitely MLM unfortunately.
Spongebobette · 09/05/2021 18:28

I can get those cloths in Sainsbury’s

Spongebobette · 09/05/2021 18:29

(Not Norwex, which is a big fat ugly MLM rip off)

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 09/05/2021 18:53

There is a Norwex EU page on Facebook.

SSDGM · 09/05/2021 19:57

Inteletravel bots have set up FB pages/ groups under the names of Jet2 holidays, easyjet holidays and Tui holidays. They can’t even sell the former 2.

The page is full of people asking for expert advice on the traffic light system and if they can get refunds on flights and holidays they have booked already. No one on there is going to get anything like expert advice.

definitelynotabot · 10/05/2021 10:16

Reading these threads has led me to do some trawling through FL figures and I've been really surprised at what has happened in the last few years.

It's a long while since I was involved and since then the company has seen some years of big increase. But the last couple of years has seen a real downturn in turnover.

With the very clear lack of marketing plan promotions compared to previous years I do think it's got serious problems and I now wonder if it will be sustainable here in the UK in the long term.
