Are there any other dials on the heater? Storage heaters normally have input and output dials as they charge up overnight and then give out heat during the day.

That could just be an electric heater so you get instant heat whenever you switch it on

It doesn't look bulky enough to be a storage heater. The plug in looks like a timer

Looks like a panel heater with timer.
Bottom right of the heater is some printed info, make model probably. So you could google that to see if you can find more info.

I am guessing it is a thermostatically controlled panel heater, the dial is the temperature control.

I agree. The plug in bit controls when it goes on and off and the dial with numbers will control how hot it gets

What does the label at the bottom say? Bit no it doesn't look big enough for a storage heater.
