Barclays self employed mortgage

Hello
We have just applied to Barclays for a mortgage. I have been on furlough and my husband is self employed and took the SEISS grant last year although business has picked up again now.
Does anybody have any insight or experience with this sort of application with Barclays and what we should expect? TIA

Are you going on the application as well as your DH? How long were you on furlough? I got thoroughly questioned about my furlough and had to show I was no longer at threat of going on it and the company had been fine for months. All banks seems to be really wary of furlough at the moment. I would imagine they are equally wary of SEISS too. I would get together anything you can that shows both your company and DHs business are no longer affected by Covid and be prepared to answer questions about it.

I would expect them to only consider 80% of both incomes at worst, or just the self employed income at best.
