Finding a forgotten about account

I’m not sure, but I think I may have a bank account that I’ve completely forgotten about. If it exists it probably doesn’t have a lot if any money in it but I’d like to be sure.
Where would I start with finding it? It was a Midland bank account, so I guess HSBC now?

Umm I'm on a free credit check thing and that has all my bank accounts on. Would that work if you signed into one of those?

The one I have is called totally money

If it’s with midland bank just ring HSBC up and check. All banks and building societies have procedures for dormant accounts so it should be fairly straightforward.
If it’s a savings account and not a current account I don’t think it would show up on a credit check. Though I could be wrong.

First google search shows this. However it says to just contact bank if you know who it began with

Thanks. I had a look at the my lost account website and it reminded me that I used to have a NSI account too. I honestly have no idea if either of these still exist - I can’t remember closing them but can’t imagine just opening another and abandoning them! I feel better knowing that there’s such a website in existence so I can’t be the only one who is so forgetful!
I’ve filled in all the details so let’s see what comes of it!
