Tax credits

Hi
I get tax credits , apparently it has meant to have gone up £20 per week over the pandemic but mine has been the same since the last tax year ? Is it meant to be automatic or did I need to call ? Feel I may have missed out 😬
Any ideas ?

It's UC that went up by £20.

Tax credits did aswell.. mine was done automatically @katejnbump if you are entitled to it the UC payments are continuing as £20 pw for 6 months and those on tax credits entitled to it will get a £500 one off payment.. it says they should write to u/contact you by 5th April then the money will be paid by 23rd. Maybe contact them via the online chat

It is only the working tax credits part that saw an increase of £20 during covid. So if you only get child tax credits you wont get it. It's for people on a low income.

Yes, it's the wtc. You get £500 one off paymentin April, too.
