Self isolation pay

Does anyone know of you qualify when on maternity pay

At my work you get SSP if you have to isolate which I think is less than SMP so no one would claim that. Are you thinking you could get more than SMP?

Will you suffer financial hardship due to having to self isolate? If you're on maternity leave it seems unlikely. It's not at extra £500 on top of your salary (or SMP etc), it's to account for a reduction in income due to the need to isolate. If that doesnt apply then you won't be eligible, and that's before you get into all the other criteria.
