Resolver / Ryan Air

Following the advice from some on here, I've opened a claim with Resolver to try and get money back for flights Ryan Aur cancelled last June.

Ryan Air have given us vouchers, despite the fact that we asked for a refund - which we are allowed as they cancelled the flights.

Just wondering how many times you have to chase them up before they provide a refund, or do you have to go all the way to the Civil Aviation Authority stage?

We had flights cancelled in June and eventually got the money in January. It took some chasing and they tried really hard to give us vouchers

Mine were cancelled in June and I had the money within 8 weeks. I never let up though and emailed every email address I could find, every single day. I reiterated on every email that I did not want vouchers. My auntie is still waiting for a refund from last May though so I think being a pain pays off. Good luck

Yes, with Ryanair you need to insist and insist every single day. They will finally pay, but it does take a long time.

I joined a Facebook group called Ryanair refunds or something like that. Had flights cancelled in March and finally got a refund around September last year. It gave lots of advice and I got two email addresses that I contacted and within days had my refund. These are the ones I used, they might not be relevant any more so you may need other contacts but worth a try, [email protected] and [email protected].
