So one of my friends is now a Nuskin (LumiSpa) person! Lighting up her Instagram stories daily.

Her latest story is how she has now surpassed her non mummy full time salary.

Is this possible? Do they actually make any money? Like i think about that scene in Wolf of Wall Street. Show me a paycheck for $72,000 and I'll quit my job and work for you.

Interesting = someone near to me has been posting on a local site selling underwear. She is doing SO well and has not had to return to work following maternity leave. I wonder?

Typical mlm brainwashing again. No they don't make that kind of money, they are actively encouraged to 'fake it 'til you make it' and lie about their earnings.

A good blog to read about it is by Ella Beau and BBC iplayer have a interesting documentary called Secrets of multi level millionaires. They open your eyes to the truth about how much the average person is really making and how much the top 1% are making.

A girl I knew started selling FM a couple of months ago. She was apparently rushed off her feet and earning a full time wage. Funny that considering her separate FM insta page only had 14 followers Hmm anyway a month ago FM stopped abruptly and she is now selling nuskin. Same bullshit just a different name/brand. They're all full of shit.

Hi, I have few friends as well with Nu Skin. Also many with Forever Living. I think it is better to look into the actual business and people who working in it and what they experience, other than rumors or people who tried for a short term and given up. Or never tried but heard... Also like in many companies and places it is so important who you work with. Companies have different profiles and ways of selling. Direct marketing is not for everyone, but in there you can choose how to approach others. The best is try the products. If you like them, you will happy to promote to others because they work for you too. How does everyone buys? By adverts on TV. Chanel, etc. How many people buy them! And they even more expensive.. and not necessarily because of the quality.. rather the name, fame and marketing. So my opinion is to rather do your personal research from people who are in the business, their stories, experiences, try them yourself, and to be honest if they would be crappy products, they wouldn't be on the market for decades.. Like how many products from the shop shelves disappears because they caused so much issues to people. Even the biggest names, from Johnson &Johnson and HIPP, which supposed to be very safe for babies! But they are not. I hope this helped. Sorry for being so long :-D I used to listen to some rumors as well, but learnt to listen to my guts and if I am interested in a company, or products, or want to find solution for my issues (money, health) I do my own detailed research and rather dig deeper and find the honest sources and information and decide after.

Is this part of some cut and past psuedo response to sensible MLM doubters? Did you buy a special MLM product or your guts to allow them to speak to you? Anyway, luckily as you are doing proper research it won't take you long to discover what a con all MLMs are.

I am not a professional writer myself, I wrote my own thoughts. Shame for some bitter person, that they so hurt that unable to notice honesty and read an opinion properly. With no side thoughts..

Good luck in life. You certainly will need it and some happiness, as clearly lack of those. Some of you are so bitter and unsatisfied with their lives that they try to ruin others with bitter comments. But at least you found each other here. Good for you! :-D

Goodness, what a strange reply. You don't seriously think that people who don't fall for MLM BS are bitter and unsatisified do you?

If MLM were such good money making opportunities why would anyone's life be ruined by someone disagreeing with them? How could such a solid business be spoilt because I think they are nonsense.

Yes we are very bitter here but is usually involves a childhood Christmas,, cabbage patch dolls and / or a Mr Frosty. Bitter about MLM's? Not so much.

I was never allowed a shell suit either, but that is probably a blessing in disguise.

I am hardly going to be bitter and jealous that instead of a scammy business that involves me selling over priced and ineffectual shite to people who can’t afford it by lying to them I have an actual business that makes a profit and provides a genuine service.
I will tell you who is actually “hurt” though - people who have been preyed on by these scam artists and who have lost friends and money.

I thought the BBC documentary about multi level marketing companies was really informative OP. It's still on I player if you want to watch it? It's called "secrets of the multi-level millionaires"...don't be fooled by the title though...according to the documentary Younique alone have approx 1.23 million members globally, but only 0.02% are earning top figures, which equates to about 240 people in the entire world. Also according to the documentary NUskin also has members all over the world. In 2017 distributors in Europe, the middle east and had just over 90,000 active distributors 89% made absolutely no commission. But I suppose if 90,000 were filthy rich...we'd all be bathing in the products wouldn't we...but to be honest £33 for a mascara that I could buy comparibly for a fiver in boots is never going to attract me as a customer. The documentary was a really really good watch to be honest. It opened my eyes to how some companies operate.

OMG, just reading your lines in any of the topics are stressful and negative. I am certainly not belonging here, thank you for the eye opening experience. I am so grateful that I have my family and friends and a positive crowd around me and world wide actually, who are uplifting not like this environment. You've described posters as bitter twice now @Nitlily do you know what that word means? I don't understand why or how you've come to that conclusion, could you explain?

Also how did you happen to join here just at the time that a thread less than positive had been posted, find it and only post on one thread. Posters here aren't stupid, they can spot an MLM hun a mile off, you are an absolutely classic example. Maybe your upline could get some pointers for the next time one of your boss babes thinks their nonsense will fly here.
