I keep getting emails from various banks asking me to verify my account details. Am obviously ignoring and deleting but wonder if anyone else had those.

Get them quite a lot, its called phishing I think!! You can report them to the bank that they are supposed to be from, but ignore and deltet is the right way to go.

Ah so this is what phishing is. It's worrying isn't it.

Obviously don't give any of your details out, but if one comes claiming to be from a bank you use, you should inform the bank.

Must confess i have noticed a sudden increase as of late with these e.mails!!!

Don?t be tempted to reply to them.
They use email address generating software to send the emails with.
If you reply, they then know that they have hit on a real address and get paid to circulate these addresses to other scammers.

You will be inundated then!!
