I sell clothing on Ebay. I started with a tiny amount of money and make a good profit each month for relatively few hours in comparison. I usually buy the clothing from charity shops, boot sales and sometimes buy big job lots of clothing. Feel free to PM me if you want any advice or help about doing similar. It's not easy money as such but a really good way to make money from home.

@Completelyunassertive Do you find you make more profit selling individual items or putting bundles together? I am on maternity and could really use some cash at the moment, I have all my DS and DD's clothes I've decided to sell and they're in excellent condition but not sure how is best to sell?

How much money do you want and how much time and effort are you willing to put into it? Some money making plans are such hard work it would be easier to get a job!

spaceghetto · 21/02/2021 22:44

I did matched betting and made about £500 in a month. Not sure how to keep making that though!

StephanieSavetowin · 26/02/2021 10:18

Selling your clothes someties help if you choose specialist sites. For vintage clothes Etsy and Depop are great, if you have expensive clothes then Vestaire is a good option. If you have a wedding dress try www.bride2bride.co.uk/ the charge a flat fee as opposed to Ebay that takes a percentage of the sale.

EmmaC78 · 26/02/2021 15:50

I do matched betting and you can probably make about £300 a month fairly easily and it is risk free. Team Profit was the website I used but I think there are others.

I also do online surveys like Prolific and Panelbase but realistically only make about £20 - £25 ,a month from that

PrettyLittleStars · 26/02/2021 16:41

@spaceghetto how does the match betting work? I get so confused with it all!

You are basically taking advantage of the free bets and other offers made available by the bookies. I started last July with £20 and am now up to nearly £3000. If you do it right it is pretty much impossible to lose money.

You can make a lot in the beginning and then it does slow down so I wouldn't see it as a long term solution but it would make you a reasonable extra income. The team profit website is free and has step by step guides etc.

I was a bit sceptical at the start but it does work.

I do matched betting too. Only 2wks in but nearly £400 in profit. Not taken a lot of effort but once you’ve done the sign up offers it is harder but still possible to make a few hundred a month without much effort. I’m really enjoying it too. You’re not gambling in the traditional sense as you’re betting on both outcomes. I use profit accumulator, but best thing to do is go on YouTube and listen to a few videos that explain it.

limegreenbogie · 24/04/2021 21:17

There's a video that explains match betting Here

You should be able to make a few hundred a month easily once you get the hang of it.

I would echo what other poster have suggested about matched betting. It does take a bit of time to get your head round it at first, which can be tricky with a baby as you need a bit of concentration and focus.
Once you get the hang of it, things get much quicker.
