Welcome to the Feb thread.

Newbies welcome. We're all here for the same thing, get together and earn some extra cash. Aim for £10/day but every little (or lots) is good.

My Neevo tasks are working.
I've done the maximum (x244) on the rate the speech task.
I can't pass the qualification test on the other one though

An email from N*o just arrived saying that if I can't see the image task, it was sent to me in error.

@CrepuscularCritter, I had that email too. Strange!

@CrepuscularCritter and @Catatemyhomework, me too. Frustrating as it looked better than the tasks I'm usually allocated by N***!

I'm new to Appen and got an email yesterday saying I'm invited to work on a project. but there's nothing under the 'my projects' folder and the project is now not in my 'applied' tab either.

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

@mushmellow Don't worry - Appen are very fond of sending out lots of "congratulations!" emails way before they actually give you access to the projects! It's them, not you

Is anyone on Ap T**s? Just started it this week () & wondering if it's normal to have a fair few errors that have to be skipped out of the 20 ads.

Those of you who do UTest and not experienced software testers, so had to work through the academy course, was it worth doing?
Im about 1/3 way in the course and just thought i would check before i spend anoyher Sunday afternoon on it.
Also, it says that the most requested devices in my area are Iphones, but i only have Android and have no intentions in ivesting in another phone. Would i still get work ?

@tinyradish, I'm getting lots of small batches, missing bakeoff and errors but after raising a ticket and following their instructions to no avail, I'm now just making a note on the invoice each time it happens. Its annoying though as it means my hour a day project now only takes half an hour sometimes so less money earned.

I’m a uTest novice myself ( signed up in December) and going through the Academy topics and was wondering the same. I appreciate I’m learning new skills and would love to utilise it in the future to supplement my PT job.
I’m currently doing Prolific, Appen, intellizoompanel, clickworker, qmee and angelfish. Had a look at couple of other survey sites but given up on them as I refuse to play games to collect points etc

I emailed about an unsure item about 2 weeks ago. I received a reply about 5 or 6 days later

@ruralwanderer When I get small batches (occasionally as small as one!) I just keep submitting them then generating new batches until I get to 30, are you doing this? So I always do the full 30 and put down 1 hr on my invoice. It's annoying as you have to keep count of how many you've done as you go along, but I haven't had any other problems recently with bakeoff or invoices.

Anyone had another invite for the Neev0 image one again?

@SidVisk yes I have but still can't access it so guess it's been sent to me in error again

Also getting the audio text correction job reminder emails but found it to be quite long-winded when I did the qualification set so not sure it's worth the time. I miss the short audio jobs we used to get!

I got re-invited to the Neevo task that didn't work last week. Anyway, I've failed the test! Done quite a few presentations in my time, but that didn't seem to help me! Oh well, it looked a bit fiddley anyway!
