I've tried looking online already but dont have a clear answer.
Had a traumatic family death in october which has affected me alot just recently and really struggling with mental health. Have been in contact with the doctors who have given me advice re bereavement counselling which I want to do.
I'm self certifying off work for a week but doctor has said they want me to see the mental health team next week who may sign me off.
I'm currently claiming UC so do I notify them that i'm self certifying at the moment or do I let them know only when I have an official sick note?
