Hi - I hope someone can help - the working tax credit peeople sent me a new form after my husband left, i sent back and now they have sent another letter asking loads of really personal questions that i dont think are relevent i.e all my last credit card statements, my last mobile tel bill, my last landline bill, loan agreements, mortgage statement. My situ is since husband announced he is leaving he has refused to leave the house so after 8 wks of hell I moved to my mum and dads house with daughter and dog. Do I need to answer all these questions - I feel I am just filling their ears with info that I dont think they use for themselves only.

I think you probably do tbh, although I never had to, have you tried calling them and asking why??
I have normally found the advisors pretty helpful whenever I have called.

There was another thread about this a few days ago and I think the rules have changed and you do have to do this now.

Completely out of order in my opinion
